Some Pretty Lofty Goals for 2014

With multiple snow days off from school, I have had plenty of time to put together a list of races for 2014.  Most of these are local and familiar races, but a few of them are destination races.  My goal is to run 14 races of any kind in 2014 to fulfill the 14 in 2014 Challenge.  My first race on my schedule is called The Fanny Freezer 5K.  The last time I ran this the temps were below zero, hence the name.  Check out my list of 2014 races below.

  1. Love, love, love this list. I'm also crossing my fingers for "warm" temps on Feb. 8. I think I'll be doing some of those, as well!

    1. Hopefully we will have some warmer temps but since you've been running outside in this, you will do great even if it is cold. I hope you do some of these races as well.

  2. Fanny Freezer - I'd run it just for the t-shirt, love that name! Although I hope you don't freeze your fanny off, lol!

    1. Unfortunately this race is one that doesn't offer a shirt. The race fee is ony $5 which is a great price but it is a bare bones race. With a major storm predicted here next week, it looks like I might just freeze my fanny off.
